Difficulty: Easy++, probably the easiest of all stick insects to buy and raise. Ultra resistant, not prone to autotomy, super simple diet, it likes the room temperature of a house, reproduces by parthenogenesis, even the hatching of its eggs is ultra fast for a stick insect: it is literally the champion of survival. It has ALL the advantages.
Temperature: 22-25°C (a temperate interior is actually sufficient, these temperatures are the optimal ones).
Humidity: 60-70%. A light misting once a day is enough to maintain an adequate humidity level.
Food :
Stick insect: Leaves of brambles, oak, ivy, or rose bushes. These plants are easy to find and constitute their main diet.
Reproduction mode:
Sexual or parthenogenetic reproduction (without males). Females lay eggs, which can hatch after a period of 2 to 4 months depending on temperature and conditions.
