Live Drosophila Flies - Food for Praying Mantises and Carnivorous Insects
Drosophila flies are an ideal food source for a wide variety of captive-bred insects, including praying mantises and other insectivorous species. Their small size , attractive movement , and ease of rearing have made them a staple for entomology enthusiasts.
Drosophila flies have the advantage of being incredibly easy to breed and highly prolific.
In addition to being rich in essential proteins , fruit flies are easy to raise at home with the right substrate and a controlled environment. They are also an economical solution for ensuring a regular and balanced diet for your pets.

Breeder's Note: A single box will be more than enough to grow one or two mantises until they can move on to larger prey such as cockroaches or "normal" flies (silky warbler or musca domestica).
⚠Note that you will receive a box corresponding to the least populated one visible in the photo. The all-black one serves as a demonstration of the prolificacy of the species. ⚠
